Figs & Rouge Coco Rose Lip Balm Review

I absolutely love Figs & Rouge lip balms in the little tins, they are super 100% natural soil association certified organic and the packaging is delightfully vintage ~ oh and they do a fabulous job at moisturising, conditioning and protecting dry lips as well!

This is all marvellous I hear you say, but I don't like putting my "fingers in tins"!

Well now you don't have to Figs & Rouge lip balms are now available in tubes ~ perfect for on the go in pockets and handbags!

The lip balms are available in three tinted versions Coco Rose, Cherry Blossom and Mocha Orange.
I decided to give Coco Rose a try.

The packaging doesn't have as much of a vintage feel as the tins, which I think is a shame, but it's still very pretty and different ~ you don't see very many pink flamingos on lip balms I have to say!

The balm is 100% pure & natural but the packaging doesn't show the soil association certified organic symbol so I presume this one isn't.
There are absolutely no petroleum (crude oil) derivatives in this ~ a common cheap ingredient that most non natural lip balms are made of and something I would never put near my lips as I don't want to be ingesting petroleum if I can avoid it!

~ just lovely natural ingredients ~

Ricinus Communis Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Copernicia Cerifera Wax, Parfum (natural), Mica, Pelargoniumi Graveolens Oil, CI 77891, CI 77492, Benzy Alcohol, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, Citral, Limonene.

The Coco Rose has a pale blush pink tint with a frosty shimmery finish. On my lips it doesn't really show up as pale pink, its more of just a lip enhanced shimmery finish.

I'm quite happy with this as I just want to use this simply as a straight foreword lip balm,  however if you're wanting a colour on your lips then I don't think this will be the product for you.

The balm feels lovely on the lips, really moisturising and has good staying power, and can be easily applied straight from the tube or onto your finger first.
It is very slightly floral scented but I couldn't smell this on my lips.
If you are sensitive to fragranced products though, then this might be something to consider.

I really like this new addition to the Figs & Rouge range,  and it compliments the tins well as they are just a plain balm without a tint.

It does everything you could possibly want a lip balm to do, it's 100% natural and its made right here in the UK ~ perfect!

Figs & Rouge Coco Rose Lip Balm 12.5ml is £4.99 so reasonably priced too!
