I thought you guys would be interested in my 'face of the day', which was actually yesterday but who's quibbling !
I have been trying out some new natural make up and wanted to show you the results!
I was trying to achieve a natural but neutral 'better than bare' daytime look, ideal for weekends where you're just pottering about or popping to the shops.
I only used two items of conventional make up so I was pretty pleased with myself!
I wore this to go to the hairdresser's, Tesco and doing a final bit of garden tidying up ~ my life of glamour !!

The Jouer base is lovely, and although it has mineral sunscreen and colour and I was very happy with it's performance, it does contain quite a few nasty chemicals such as Propylene Glycol so I won't be purchasing it in a full size.
This is a lot less coverage than I normally have but I don't think it turned out too badly!
Those of you with eagle eyes may have noticed my 'Beaten Heart' necklace, yes it is the one I featured in one of my Wish list Wednesday posts from La Jewellery ~ very kindly La Jewellery contacted me and offered me a substantial discount on the necklace which enabled me to purchase it, so a big thank you to La Jewellery, I am really enjoying wearing it.
I will just mention Liz Earle Skincare, although I have listed it as natural, it's not really as natural as I would like, it does still contain parabens & some other chemical ingredients I'm not overly thrilled with. I am using up the cleanser and until I find a suitable alternative for the neck serum, that has cleaner ingredients I will continue to use it.
So what do you guys think? ~ is this a look that you would wear ?
