I'm currently coming to the end of my third bottle of Liz Earle Superskin Bust & Neck Treatment, so I thought it was about time I wrote a little something on it!
For years I just treated my neck area with exactly the same products as my face, and I think this is absolutely fine up until a certain age or until you notice that the skin on your neck is starting to look and feel different, as our true age doesn't necessarily reflect our skin age!
Although my neck is really pretty good in terms of elasticity and firmness, last year I really started to notice that the skin on my neck was not feeling quite as smooth and soft as it had been and was starting to look a little bit goose bumpy - sorry girls I know this is not a great image but I tell it like it is!
It was only a slight difference and I know no one else is examining my neck that closely to even notice, but I'd noticed and that was enough for me!!
I decided that I needed to invest in a specific neck product to try and nip this ageing malarkey in the bud!
I did quite a fair bit of looking and it was quite hard to find a product that was natural and at a reasonable price, in the end I decided to purchase the Liz Earle Superskin Bust & Neck Treatment.
It fitted the bill, it was not too expensive at £28.00, well compared to other creams I'd seen that were anything from £50 to over £100!, and although isn't completely natural as it still contains parabens, it still has some good effective quality botanical ingredients in it so I felt this was a fair compromise.
~ Ingredients ~
Aqua (water), Glycerin, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry) seed oil, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Borago officinalis (borage) seed oil, Rosa canina (rosehip) seed oil, Sodium polyacrylate, Kigalia africana (sausage tree) fruit extract, Pyrus cydonia (quince) seed extract, Garcinia mangostana (mangosteen) peel extract, Chlorella vulgaris/lupinus albus protein extract, Punica granatum (pomegranate) fruit extract, Citrus aurantium amara (neroli) flower oil, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, Anthemis nobilis (chamomile) flower oil, Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) leaf extract, Xanthan gum, Trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Aspartic acid, Sodium chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Alcohol denat, Benzoic acid, Dehydroacetic acid, Farnesol, Linalool, Limonene.
It really is packed full of botanicals - some of them being quite unusual, and I'm pleased to report I've found it to be very effective on my neck!
It is actually a very light textured serum, which I really like. I use one pump, morning and evening and it just sinks in straight away without any residue.
As I only use it on my neck one bottle lasts me around 3 months so it is very economical.
It does have a botanical scent, but it isn't that noticeable and I certainly can't smell it after its applied.
This serum has really made such a difference to the skin on my neck, within a couple of weeks my neck was much softer and within a month the skin was smoother and the 'goose bump' appearance had gone completely!
My skin also looked much better, it had a brighter tone and just looked fresher and younger.
You can also use this serum on the bust and decollete area, I personally haven't as I really haven't got any issues there at the moment so I can't comment on how it performs as a bust treatment.
The only thing I will say is it is only 50ml so if you are intending to use it all over the neck & bust area you could potentially get through a lot of it!!
I was thoroughly impressed with these results simply because the serum had done everything I wanted it to ~ give me a better looking and feeling neck area!
I have continued to use this serum everyday since then and I really feel it is keeping my neck in good condition and helping slow down the ageing process.
Of course this will only be kept at bay for so long as we are all going to age no matter what we put onto our skin but I am determined to look as good as I can for as long as I can!!
If you want to give this a try you can buy it from Liz Earle Direct here.
Till next time my lovelies!!
