This stunning palette from The Organic Pharmacy is my Christmas pressie to myself this year ladies!
I couldn't wait till Christmas to use this as it is so pretty and of course I wanted to review it for you lovely lot, just in case you want to treat yourselves too!
Organic Pharmacy have really pulled out all the stops with this palette!
The packaging is as you would expect, luxuriously chic.
It's black and glossy with the added touch of a very classy gold clasp closure.
It reminds me very much of a cross between Chanel and Bobbi Brown.
WOW! Was the first word out of my mouth when I opened up this palette for the first time, and the on line photos of this certainly do not do it justice at all!
The palette consists of
Blusher in 'Pink Dust' ~ A Medium Pink Shimmer Blush shot through with a little 'sparkle'
Bronzer in 'Deep Golden Bronze' ~ A Medium Brown shimmer shot through with 'sparkles'
4 Mineral Eyeshadows
'Stardust' ~Light Brown shimmer with a little sparkle.
'Nude Pink Silver Dust' ~ Light Pink shimmer with a little sparkle
'Esspresso Gold' ~ A charcoal black with a slight shimmer shot through with gold sparkles
'Nude Gold Dust' ~ A very dark green shimmer shot through with gold sparkles
Lipgloss in 'Candy Pink' ~ A sheer soft pink with a hint of shimmer, think your lips only better.
Cream Highlighter in 'Silver Pearl' ~ Very subtle silvery highlighter, good for cheekbones and the brow bone.
Although this is described as a 'Nude Palette' I was pleased to find that is isn't all just differing tones of brown.
I do love nude palettes but they can get a bit 'samey' sometimes and this one is certainly different enough to stand out in any ones collection.
I've had this palette for a few weeks now, and have been using it almost every day. The shadows are long wearing over a eye primer, Stardust & Nude Pink Silver Dust are very subtle and give a natural daytime look providing just a hint of colour to the eyes.
Esspresso Gold & Nude Gold dust are for me, evening 'smokey' eye colours.
The blush is a lovely shade of pink and suits my fair skin well, it does give a glow to the cheeks, which I like, however you do need to be careful with it as too much of it can be a tad too 'shimmery'!
I use the bronzer as another eyeshadow as I don't ever use bronzer on myself, however it works perfectly well as a medium brown crease shadow.
The lipgloss looks quite pigmented in the pan, however on the lips is is very sheer, it's really a case of your own lip colour just enhanced slightly with a hint of shimmer. For me this lip gloss is perfect for a 'no make up' make up day, but as you know I'm a red lippie fan so I would have preferred a red lipgloss but I'm sure it will please many of you ladies who don't like to be so bold!
The cream highlighter is very subtle, perfect for the tops of cheekbones and brow bones, and looks fabulous in candle light.
I'm very pleased with this palette and even more pleased that finally there is a natural make up brand out there that can truly compete with the big luxury brands in both quality of the product and in the looks department too!
The only downside to this palette is the fact it's £49, however if you want to get your hands on it you can do so here
Till next time my lovelies!
